The Community Liaison Committee (CLC) was established in 2013 at BWXT NEC's Toronto location. A new CLC was established in 2020 at BWXT NEC's Peterborough location.
The CLC is a forum for the exchange of information between BWXT NEC and members of the community near our facilities at 1160 Monaghan Road, Peterborough and 1025 Lansdowne Avenue, Toronto. BWXT NEC seeks to learn more about community priorities, interests, and activities and improve how it shares information about work at its Peterborough and Toronto facilities, health and safety initiatives and community activities. CLC members convey questions, discuss concerns and identify opportunities to improve communications and community relations.
